Named by The Huffington Post as one of 10 women writers for "required reading," Jan Beatty is the author of Jackknife: New and Collected Poems (Univ of Pittsburgh Press), winner of the 2018 Paterson Prize. Her previous book, The Switching/Yard, was chosen for Library Journal's Thirty New Books That Will Help You Rediscover Poetry. Other titles include Red SugarBoneshaker, and Mad River, winner of the Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize. For 25 years, Beatty was host and producer of Prosody, a public radio show featuring the work of writers. She directs the creative writing MFA program and the Madwomen in the Attic workshops at Carlow University. More information at janbeatty.com.

Harry Bauld was twice first-team All-Ivy League shortstop at Columbia University. As a freelance journalist he has written articles about sports, the arts, wine, and other topics for various magazines. His poems have won the New Millennium Writings Award and the Milton Kessler Poetry Prize, and appeared in Nimrod, Southern Poetry Review, and Passager among others. He currently holds the Kulik Chair in English at the Horace Mann School in New York. The Uncorrected Eye is his first book of poems, published by Passager Books. More information at harrybauld.com.
