Commencement is a time for graduates, the campus community, as well as family, and guests to celebrate years of commitment and hard work. It is important to note that graduation and commencement involve the work of several offices. Therefore, if you have questions please consider reviewing the Whom to Contact List to help clarify the best office or organization to contact.
Commencement ceremonies occur twice a year for undergraduate and graduate students. In the Fall, undergraduates and graduates have a joint commencement ceremony. In the Spring, they are separate. For more information about deadlines, please view the chart on this page that includes all pertinent deadlines.
As a reminder, only students who complete all degree requirements may participate in the commencement ceremonies. Review the Graduation Applications and Eligibility page for additional information.
