How to Recognize & Respond to Bias, Harassment and Bullying in Legal Workplaces
Thursday, March 28, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Classroom 408
Many attorneys encounter bias, sexual harassment, and/or bullying in their legal workplaces. Not only does widespread gender and racial bias permeate hiring, promotion, assignments and compensation in the legal profession, but bullying is also prevalent; in some surveys, over half of all women attorneys and a third of all men attorneys report that they have faced bullying at work, whether by supervisors, colleagues, opposing counsel, judges or clients.
Attend this program with UB Law alumna, Kathleen Cahill, of Kathleen Cahill Law, one of Maryland’s leading plaintiffs-side employment attorney, and learn how to empower yourselves and your colleagues at work and protect both your wellbeing and your career. Bring your own questions and concerns.
