When we post something to a digital platform, we’re hoping to share a message, but if that post isn’t accessible, then we’re limiting our reach. As a public institution, it’s vitally important that we make our website and social media posts as accessible as possible to everyone. That includes adding elements like alt text and captions and taking some extra steps before hitting send/publish. In this session, we’ll go over some best-practices that you can keep in mind whether you’re working on UB’s website, or planning a post for social media
