Do you have a teaching background? Are interested in hearing about how attorneys are helping schools deal with the challenges of COVID, addressing the “school-to-prison” pipeline, protecting the rights of homeless youth and students with disabilities, and other important issues? Come hear from practicing attorneys who represent students, school systems, and the Maryland Department of Education in a wide variety of cases. Learn about education law and the paths to practicing in this area! Panelists include:

  • Amanda White, Assistant Attorney General, Maryland Office of the Attorney General 

  • Monisha Cherayil, Public Justice Center 

  • Darnell Henderson, Associate Counsel, Baltimore City Public Schools
