No two designers use InDesign the same way; however, by employing best practices, you can avoid many mistakes and dodge some disasters while speeding up your workflow.

Specific Topics: using time-saving preliminary preparations before starting a project; customizing your workspace and preferences; performing preflight quality checks to ensure a perfect print job

Prerequisites: working knowledge of InDesign’s basic tools and simple text formatting; working knowledge of Mac OS X is recommended but not required
