Photoshop can process the dual image types more successfully than Illustrator alone, and using type and vectors in Photoshop is an often overlooked and important skill. Learn vital strategies and methods to combine word and image together in painterly and photographic ways. There will be a primary focus on customizing the Brush tool and the Type Tool's higher-end users.
Prerequisites: Understanding of layers and layer usage (clipping, transparencies, locks, etc.) Understanding of vector vs. raster usages. Basic familiarity with the brush, shape, marquee, and type tools. Working knowledge of Mac OS X is recommended but not required
