By your second registration at UB, you should have already taken your Upper-division Writing Placement Test to ensure timely graduation and to enhance your academic performance in subsequent courses. In order to register for Advanced Expository Writing (WRIT 300)—an upper-division general education writing course required of all majors—you must either pass Practicum in Writing (WRIT 200) or score a 300 on the Upper-division Writing Placement Test.
You must R.S.V.P. for this test through UB's Web calendar (if there is no R.S.V.P. field below, then this section is full-please try another date). Be sure to arrive a few minutes before the start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted. Bring a photo ID and a pen or pencil to the Academic Center, room 113.
