Instructor: Yoosef Khadem
Registration fee: $85
Registration form (pdf): fax, mail, or drop off to the ALC with the registration fee
Required Text: The Official Guide for the GMAT Review, 12th Edition, $36.95
The Guide contains sample questions (both verbal and quantitative) and general tips on all sections. The UB Bookstore carries this text and accepts all major credit cards. Call 410.837.5604 for hours and information.
To ensure that you benefit from the Quantitative Review, answer the quantitative sample questions from the Diagnostic Test in the required text. If you score below average on either section (Problem Solving or Data Sufficiency), review the basic Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry sections of the text. If you lack algebra preparation, you should consider taking the GMAT Basic Math Refresher Review or UB's non-credit introductory algebra course, DVMA 93. Our Coordinator of Math Services, Yoosef Khadem, is available at any point to discuss your math background as well as other resources that may help develop your skills.
The GMAT is available only in a computer-adaptive (not paper and pencil) format. Before taking the test, you should practice with sample questions on the computer. Authentic computer adaptive GMAT questions are downloadable free from the official GMAT web site, http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT. (Click "Test Preparation for the GMAT.")
