The Law School and the Faculty Research & Development Committee invite you to a book talk and reception for John Bessler’s new book. The talk will be held on the Fifth Floor of the Student Center (in the Bogomolny Room) on Tuesday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow. Food and refreshments will be served. 

Copies of Professor Bessler's new book, Cruel and Unusual: The American Death Penalty and the Founders' Eighth Emendment (Boston: Northeastern University Press), will be available for sale.
