Transfer Students

Welcome to the University of Baltimore. Winter 2013 Transfer Orientation is designed to assist new students in acclimating to UB. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the campus, academics and student services. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with other incoming spring 2013 students and get to know UB faculty, staff and students.

The Winter New Student Orientation program is designed to meet your needs in an evening session. As a transfer student, you might be required to take a placement exam to ensure you are adequately prepared for the challenges of UB courses. Be sure to meet or talk with your academic advisor before Monday, January 14 to go over your transcript to determine if prior university credits meet the lower level undergraduate reading/writing and math general education requirements at UB. Students who need to take placement tests* are asked to arrive by 12:00 p.m. University offices will be open for questions and tours of campus will be given for students after testing is completed.

Please RSVP for Orientation below.

Orientation dates will be announced soon.

* A photo ID is required for all placement tests, so make sure you bring it with you.
