1. Resources
All UB students may use the leadership resources located in the Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement (Student Center Room 303). These resources include a variety of materials that focus on leadership skills, including books, magazines and DVDs. Resources may be checked out for up to two weeks. Failure to return resources within 2 weeks may result in disciplinary action, including removal from Leadership UB and other sanctions.
2. Calendar of Events
All participants will RSVP for activities through our schedule on CSI Link. Please RSVP for all events at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Some activities do not require RSVP, or include special instructions. Please read the event description in the calendar carefully and contact the event organizers for further information.
3. Attendance
Participants must give 24 hours’ cancellation notice for any Be More-sponsored event. To cancel attendance, please call 410.837.5417 or e-mail leadership@ubalt.edu. Repeated absences without prior notification may result in dismissal from the program.
In order to get the full benefit of our workshops and activities, participants must attend the workshop or activity in its entirety. Participants more than five minutes late for a workshop or activities will not receive credit.
4. Workshop Cancellation
In order to ensure a productive workshop experience for all participants, we must occasionally cancel workshops with five or fewer participants. We will notify those who have RSVPed at least 24 hours prior if that workshop has been cancelled. To help us avoid cancellations, please RSVP for any workshop you plan to attend, and notify us within at least 24 hours if you are unable to attend.
5. Eubie Awards
All participants are invited to the Eubie Awards: A Celebration of Student Life and Leadership, held each May. Those who have completed certificates and other special recognitions for student leaders and those involved in service will be featured.
