2013 Community Service Day Sites
Below is a partial list of the Community Service Day sites as of March 28, 2013. This list is subject to additions and changes as we continue to confirm sites. The number of volunteer slots at each location is in parentheses.

- Project PLASE (20) Paint rooms in the transitional housing facilities and learn about the cycle of homelessness from a speaker; this site is in walking distance
- Parks and People Foundation (20) Tree planting and tree maintenance at Frederick Douglass High School; this is part of a Parks and People event so there will also be non-UB volunteers at this site
- New Greenmount West Community Association (20) Planting trees in Central Baltimore; this site is in walking distance
- CUPs (Creating Unlimited Possibilities...one cup at a time) (20) Clean-up and gardening in a vacant lot that will be used for CUPs events, children's activities, and community activities
- Spotlighters Theatre (15) General cleaning, painting, planting in courtyards, and organizing shop and props storage; this site is in walking distance
- The Family Tree (15) Weeding, mulching, and planting; this site is in walking distance
- Jones Falls Clean-up with Professor Kemp (12) Collect garbage from the area arround the Jones Falls trail and the area adjacent to the stream itself; this site is in walking distance
- Mt. Royal Elem/Middle School (8) Painting murals, back-drops, and props for the Arts Evening Health Fair; this site is in walking distance
- American Cancer Society Hope Lodge (10) Organizing and cleaning; Please note- if you are not in good health (i.e. have a cold) on 4/19, you will need to choose a different site
- Baltimore Streetcar Museum (10) General cleaning; learn about the history of streetcars in Baltimore; this site is in walking distance
- William Pinderhughes Elem/Middle School (10) Painting the Community Resource Center
- Station North Thrift Store (10) Organizing and sorting clothes; this site is in walking distance
- UB Site: Our Daily Bread (10) Make peanut butter sandwiches to donate to Our Daily Bread; this site is at UB
