Offices of Admission
Now that you're an official member of the University of Baltimore community, it's time for us to get to know each other better. Our orientation is designed to familiarize you with UB. It also serves as a great opportunity for you to meet fellow students, and of course, faculty and staff members who will assist you with your transition to UB—not to mention throughout your time here.
We offer orientation programs for:
Orientation participation is required for all new students. If an emergency arises and you are unable to attend, please call your admission counselor or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make an alternate arrangement.
Students attending classes at the Universities at Shady Grove campus will have a separate orientation on Thursday, Aug. 20.
What is orientation?
Orientation will introduce you to the diverse academic, leadership, cultural and social experiences available to you at the University of Baltimore. Through orientation, you can:
- explore life at UB in the classroom, on campus and in the community
- develop a sense of personal responsibility for your academic experience
- connect to campus resources.
- acquire the skills to successfully navigate to degree completion.
