R.S.V.P. for Transfer Orientation. (Coming Soon)
The University of Baltimore is so excited to welcome you to its campus.
Transfer Orientation is designed for you. During the evening orientation (because we know you have a life outside of school!), you will:
You may be required to take a placement exam to ensure you are adequately prepared for your UB courses. Be sure to meet or talk with your academic adviser to review your transcript to determine if prior University credits meet the lower-level undergraduate reading/writing and math general education requirements at UB.
If you need to take a placement test, please plan to arrive at UB by noon to complete your testing.
University offices and centers will be open for you to stop by and ask questions, and you can take a tour of the campus once you've completed your testing.
P.S. A photo ID is required for all placement tests, so make sure you bring it with you.
* Lower-division transfer students who need to take WRIT 101, MATH 111/115 or OPRE 201 are required to take a placement exam to ensure that they are adequately prepared for UB courses. Some students may be exempt from placement exams under certain conditions, so check with your academic adviser for details.
Orientation begins in the UB Student Center (No. 8 on the map).
Discounted parking is available at the Fitzgerald Garage (No. 19 on the map). Hang onto your parking ticket when you arrive (this is important!). At the end of the day, we'll provide you with a parking voucher, which will discount your parking rate to $7.
