"The Jiu-Jitsu that I created was designed to give the weak ones a chance to face the heavy and strong." - Grand Master Heilo Gracie. Thank you for taking a minute to check the University of Baltimore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club out. Our vision is to equip each individual who enters our training facility, with the confidence, skill and dedication to become outstanding practitioners of the art. Our school is broken down into two camps: those seeking to compete and those who want to learn the fundamental concepts of the art for self defense purposes. Whatever your goal is we will help you reach it.
Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lineage: Helio Graice/Carlson Gracie Sr---> Andre Pederneiras---> Roberto "Maguilla" Da Silva (black belt 5th degree)---> Jusef Allan Badiei-Boushehri (Purple belt 7+years of exp)---> Jesse Pulliam---> Josh Jones.
Our mission is to instill in people the teachings of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu so that they make take what they learn and not just apply it on the mat, but to the many areas of their life. We welcome all who wish to take just one class and those that want to stay for many years. We operate in a no ego environment and expect each individual to bring the highest amount of dedication and respect while training with us and to their fellow training colleagues.
We look forward to hear from you and are happy to address any concerns or accommodations you may need.
Sincerely,
Jesse Pulliam
