Season in Review
For their first season in the Jessup Soccer Dome Coed Division 2 League, Team UB placed fifth overall out of a total of eight teams: one spot away from the playoffs for a chance at the championships. Dustin Fisher served as goalie, Chelsea Wilber, David Ifeanyinwanze, Lauren Bell, and Robert Wolfgang played defense, and Nima Moshggoo, Sana Sahad, Alyssa Tijerina, Kay Lawal and Chris O’Connell were on the front line as strikers and midfield. The season got off to a rocky start with two losses. Team UB came back strong in their third game with a 6 – 1 win. After another loss and a win by forfeit, the last two games were battles to the end that unfortunately ended in ties: 4 – 4 and 6 – 6. Next season they plan to dominate the field and make it to the finals in coed and men’s leagues!

Soccer Club Practice is held in the UB Gym from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesdays. Join us for some teamwork, pick up games, and fun!
