Effective March 1, 2022, University of Baltimore students, faculty and staff are no longer required to wear KN95 masks on campus.
Community members are encouraged to continue to wear masks when and where appropriate, and to respect the choice of those continuing to do so. We continue to recommend that only KN95 masks be worn as opposed to less effective alternatives.
KN95 masks are designed to be worn repeatedly if cared for, so replacing them frequently is not required or recommended. If a mask is needed, they are available at no cost via the security ambassadors located at the welcome desks in the following buildings throughout the semester:
Academic Center
Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Angelos Law Center
Sunday through Saturday: 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Bogomolny Library
Monday through Thursday: 10-8:30 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday: noon-6 p.m.
Campus offices have been issued masks for employees. Any employee who needs a KN95 mask should consult with their supervisor.
