The Community Studies and Civic Engagement program presented me with an abundance of career and leadership opportunities. I have developed programs and formed coalitions to combat gang violence, mentor and tutor youth, advocate for education and coordinate events to bring attention to important social topics. The programs coursework also prepared me for my studies in nonprofit management in the Master of Public Administration program here at UB.
