President Robert L. Bogomolny is joined by students, UB faculty and staff, and construction officials during a Feb. 17 "topping off" ceremony for the new Student Center. A steel beam, marking the completion of steel work on the building, was placed in Gordon Plaza, where many attendees signed and dated it. A crane then hoisted it into the air over Mt. Royal Avenue, and it was gently set into place along the front of the building. The project is expected to be finished early next year. You can read more about the student center project on the student center Web site.
