New EAP Begins

UB's new Employee Assistance Program is officially under way, providing employees and their family members with free, confidential assistance for a variety of personal and work-related issues.

The Office of Human Resources recognizes that balancing the demands of our working and personal lives can be challenging. The new program recognizes the need for work/life balance and provides ongoing support for UB faculty and staff. The program is available to faculty, exempt, nonexempt and Contingent II employees. It is administered by Business Health Services.

The program provides employees and their household members with free, confidential assistance to help with personal or professional issues that may interfere with work or family responsibilities and obligations. Assistance is available for issues related to stress management, family problems, child care and parenting, substance abuse, marital and relational problems, legal and financial concerns, grief and loss, work-related difficulties, communication and time management.
