Submit to The Current
The Current will be published and distributed on the first Monday of each month during the semester. Submissions are due three weeks prior to that for editing and layout.
- Please adhere to deadlines. Submissions received after the copy deadline are not guaranteed to be included in the upcoming issue.
- When submitting news from a department for the "Around UB" section, the information must already be in the form of an article (as opposed to notes that must then be turned into an article by UR). Do not submit articles that have already appeared in past issues of the Current. Limit submissions to 150-200 words.
- Submit articles and information (such as new faculty/staff publications, media appearances or presentations) to Chris Hart at chart@ubalt.edu, Academic Center Room 338, 410.837.5739. Chris also welcomes any suggestions for future lead articles.
- Articles must be relevant to faculty and staff. This is not a student-oriented publication, but rather an informative tool for faculty and staff.
- For instructions on how to add an event to UB's online calendar, visit www.ubalt.edu/calendar/instructions.html
- University Relations reserves the right to edit any articles for grammar, length and clarity.
