In order to fight obesity we need a better understanding of obesity. The causes and practical solutions should be available in order to fight this growing epidemic. To most people, the term "obesity" means to be very overweight. Health professionals define "overweight" as an excess amount of body weight that includes muscle, bone, fat, and water. "Obesity" specially refers to an excess amount of body fat. Some people, such as body builders or other athletes with a lot of muscle, can be overweight without being obese. Educational sites may help as being a source of information for combating this epidemic.
