Langsdale
Library is located on Maryland Avenue at Oliver Street. It provides
a full range of library services including reference, library instruction
classes, photocopying equipment for classroom use, and group study
rooms.

- The library's collections contain more
than 300,000 volumes including books, periodicals, CD-ROM indexes,
microforms, government documents, and audio-visual materials as
well as manuscript and archival collections containing primary
sources. Cooperative services include reciprocal borrowing privileges
with other libraries, interlibrary loan, lists of books and periodical
holdings in other Maryland libraries, and on-line database searching.
Langsdale implements an automated system in conjunction with other
automated resources. The University of Baltimore is linked with
other University System of Maryland (USM) institutions through
the Interactive Video Network (IVN) facility located in Langsdale.
- An auditorium seating 396 people is located
on the first floor and is used for a variety of lectures, films
and special presentations.
