Endowed professorships create an environment where the finest scholars can flourish. The Legacy Campaign is a critical component in creating this environment at UB. Through the development of named professorships, named faculty fellow funds, named faculty awards, and building the Dean's faculty development fund, the Legacy Campaign will enable us to continue to attract and retain the highest caliber faculty.

Creating new scholarships generated by the Legacy Campaign will make it possible for UB to remain a place of true opportunity for all students. Through the Legacy Campaign we will provide talented students from all walks of life the opportunity to earn a degree from UB.

New resources for our libraries and information technology advancements will be made possible by the Legacy Campaign. Through this effort we will provide our students and faculty with the tools needed to be successful working in the 21st century. The increasing cost of staying "ahead of the curve" has made it imperative that we develop a substantial endowment for our libraries and information technology enhancements and this is a high priority for the Legacy Campaign.
