Speaker Series
The Merrick School of Business Speaker Series provides opportunities for our many constituencies—UB students, alumni, business leaders, and those interested in the impact of business on the world at large—to gain valuable insights into a variety of business topics.
As Baltimore’s business school, it is our goal to broaden the experiences of our community and equip them with new tools for the ever-changing business environment. Bringing high-profile speakers to campus at a reasonable cost is one way we demonstrate our commitment to the region and provide opportunities for the community to expand their knowledge-base.
The series debuted in April 2009 with a lecture by Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the Grameen Bank. Learn more about our past speakers.
