Natalyia Eidelman
‘Made in Russia, Assembled in America’ – Natalyia Eidelman is daughter to a Russian immigrant family who has put her unique experiences and past tribulations to good use through a keen, creative eye. Initially studying sustainable architecture at the Maryland Institute College of Art, her ability to piece together components of social consciousness with aesthetic appeal drove her to the idea of starting her own business within the field of design.
Her business—a socially conscious jewelry and home decor company—focuses on bringing the value of art and art education back to communities locally and globally, while spreading the message that things are not always what they seem. She utilizes industrial materials and found objects pairing them with precious stones, metals and diamonds, juxtaposing the unrefined with the refined. She is incredibly passionate and her work reflects that, it has gained the attention of notable found object artists such as Isaiah Zagar and leaves an everlasting unique impression with each individual who encounters it.
Eidelman transferred to the University for her junior year to participate in the University of Baltimore’s Entrepreneurship Fellows Program in order to gain networking and the hands on experience to start a successful venture.
