Featherstone Foundation, Mexican Embassy Establish College Scholarship at University of Baltimore to Empower Latino Students

The inaugural Featherstone College Scholarship, created by the William & Lanaea C. Featherstone Foundation in partnership with the Consular Section of the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C., will provide six University of Baltimore students with $2,000 merit-based awards as an incentive to increase Latino enrollment in higher education.

The University of Baltimore's Spotlight UB live performance series is partnering with the Baltimore chapter of the League of Women Voters to bring to life 'The Last Battle of the American Revolution,' a play about the fight for American women's right to vote. A staged reading of the play will take place on Feb. 22.
