The UB Finance Society will host a how-to session on standing out during the career recruitment process in the financial services industry, on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. in Room 221 of the William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center (the Merrick School of Business), 11 W. Mt. Royal Ave. Two officials from Northwestern Mutual Financial Network—Jeff Crosley, field director for the company's Baltimore office; and Michael Duke, director of recruitment and selection—will be on hand to provide tips and strategies for building a career in financial services.

The UB Finance Society's mission is to assist in the professional, educational and social development of college students interested in finance, banking and investment.
