The University of Baltimore will hold its 108th commencement ceremony for its fall 2009 graduates of the Merrick School of Business and the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m., at the Lyric, adjacent to the campus at 140 W. Mount Royal Ave. in midtown Baltimore.
Marcus W. Corwin, B.s. '81, J.D. '83, president and general counsel for American Exhibitions, will deliver the address for the event. Corwin will be introduced by University of Baltimore President Robert L. Bogomolny.
School of Business Dean Darlene Smith and College of Liberal Arts Dean Larry Thomas will officially present the graduates to President Bogomolny, who will then confer degrees to all graduates. Gary Attman, a member of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents, and Gregory A. Bayor, B.A. '71, president of the UB Alumni Association Board of Governors, will offer greetings at the event. Lynette Burrell, a representative of the senior class, will also speak at the ceremony.
