UB Ranks High for Safety Among Maryland Campuses

The University of Baltimore is the second safest campus among all of the Maryland's public colleges and universities, as reported by StateUniversity.com, an online resource for information on financial aid, academics and other topics related to higher education.
This is the second year in a row that UB has been highly ranked for its safety and security. StateUniversity.com said it uses crime reports submitted by college/university law enforcement departments between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 to establish its rankings. The site gave UB a score of 93.67.
StateUniversity.com said it analyzed crime statistics from 450 colleges and universities to establish a safety rating for schools in each state.
The University of Baltimore is a member of the University System of Maryland and comprises the School of Law, the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs and the Merrick School of Business.
