Schaefer Center Graduates State's First Certified Public Manager Cohort

The Schaefer Center for Public Policy in the University of Baltimore's College of Public Affairs will host its Maryland Certified Public Manager (CPM) graduation on Thursday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. in the fifth floor of the UB Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
CPM graduates have successfully completed a rigorous management development program designed to help public sector and nonprofit managers attain and build upon their management skills. The designation, "Certified Public Manager" is awarded to those who successfully complete the nationally-accredited program. The Schaefer Center is the only provider of this program in Maryland. There are more than 26,000 graduates of Certified Public Manager programs across the United States.
College of Public Affairs faculty members are renowned experts in their fields, and include a group of National Academy of Public Administration fellows. Its academic programs capitalize on the University's distinction in the fields of public administration, criminal justice and health and human services.
