The University of Baltimore School of Law will host a debate among the three candidates for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General on Monday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Frances Angelos Law Center's Moot Courtroom, 1401 N. Charles St. in Baltimore. Del. Aisha Braveboy, Del. Jon Cardin and Sen. Brian Frosh are scheduled to participate. UB School of Law Dean Ronald Weich will serve as moderator. The event is free and open to the public.
A live stream for this event will be available shortly before it begins. Go here for the link.
The debate at the University of Baltimore will be the second of two official debates prior to the Democratic primary for Maryland Attorney General on June 24. The first will be held the evening of May 19 at the University of Maryland, College Park.
While the candidates have participated in a number of forums around the state, these debates will be the only events organized by the campaigns and supervised by the Maryland Democratic Party. They will follow a traditional debate format.
These debates will offer voters the opportunity to meet the candidates and hear them discuss the important issues in the race for Maryland's next Attorney General.
