UB's Online Masters in Public Administration Earns High Marks in National Ranking

The University of Baltimore's online master's degree in public administration has been rated #12 in the nation by OnlineColleges.net. The website reviewed all institutions offering an online M.P.A., and determined UB's to be one of the best choices for students in 2016.
"The University of Baltimore offers an online MPA with concentrations in public and nonprofit management. The 42-credit, two-year program provides training in basic concepts needed for leadership positions in public management and administration. The curriculum combines core classes in public management, public policy, information resource management, statistical applications and more," the site reports in its ranking of UB. "Electives include material in budgeting and fiscal administration, negotiations and conflict management, and global affairs and human security. Students must also complete an internship to graduate."
The site noted that its rankings are based on a comparison of academics, student experience, financial aid, and enrollment.
UB was rated highly overall for its online offerings, placing second among institutions in Maryland.
