Victoria Reid Named Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing

Victoria Reid, former divisional vice president for global operations at Laureate Education, has been named vice president of enrollment management and marketing at the University of Baltimore. Reid, who has spent close to a decade in higher education leadership at both Laureate and Walden University, also has extensive experience in corporate global marketing for two international businesses, where she was responsible for brand stewardship and market expansion. She starts in her new position at UB on Aug. 1.

Most recently, Reid served as Laureate's divisional vice president of global operations, leading a 350-employee team located in both the U.S. and Europe with a focus on managing online operations for more than 70,000 students at a number of institutions, including Walden University, as well as partnerships with the University of Liverpool and the University of Roehampton. Her range of responsibilities included admissions, registration services, academic advising, full-time technical support, as well as customer experience and student retention and progression.
Previously, she was president of Laureate Online Education International, where she directed its worldwide online business, working with the company's wholly-owned and partner universities hosting more than 17,000 students. In this capacity, she drove various Laureate institutions' successes in enrollment growth and program expansion, through efforts in marketing, forecasting and performance monitoring. Reid also held a series of leadership positions at Walden University including serving as its vice president of international as well as the vice president of the Richard W. Riley College of Education.
Prior to her career in higher education administration, Reid was global director for marketing and innovation in Coca Cola's Minute Maid Division (2004-06) and global marketing director of youth beverages for the same division (1999-2003). Earlier, she worked for Colgate Palmolive's marketing operations in Chile, as well as in various product management and marketing roles in Brazil, Colombia and New York.
Reid holds an International Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Colorado. She has been a board member for the Les Roches International School of Hotel Management.
