Deborah Miran, a former member of the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission who specializes in the FDA approval process.

Gail Rand, a longtime advocate for her son, who suffers from epilepsy, and the CFO of ForwardGro, a firm approved to grow cannabis in Maryland. 

Dr. Ryan Vandrey, an experimental psychologist from Johns Hopkins University whose research focuses on the behavioral pharmacology of cannabis and nicotine/tobacco.

Del. Cheryl Glenn, a member of the House of Delegates since 2007 who represents Baltimore City’s District 45. Glenn was the main sponsor of H.B. 881 (2014), which created Maryland’s medical cannabis program.

John Hudak, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and the author of Marijuana: A Short History, which traces the history of America's laws and attitudes toward cannabis.
