Michele Cotton, associate professor in the Division of Legal, Ethical and Historical Studies in the University of Baltimore's Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, has been named prelaw adviser. Prof. Cotton will provide advice and assistance to students who are considering law school and the practice of law or exploring law-related careers that do not require a law degree.
"UB offers students a unique range of ways to explore the law," Prof. Cotton said. "We have a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs for students who have an interest in the law. UB also has one of the State of Maryland's only two public law schools, which is an integral part of our campus and has a strong connection with the rest of the University."
