Kimberley Lynne, published playwright, arts and theater manager and affiliate assistant professor in the University of Baltimore's Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, will be a featured guest for the next edition of the acclaimed Stoop Storytelling series on Monday, May 22. Lynne will recount some of the unique experiences she's had in local live theatre—moments that sometimes went far beyond the boundaries of the play itself. The event will take place beginning at 6 p.m. at Everyman Theatre, 315 W. Fayette St.
"The Show Must Go On" is Stoop Storytelling's take on the tradition of Noises Off, with various speakers delivering "hilarious-but-true stories of the unexpected pitfalls and pratfalls of live performance."
Lynne promises a one-of-a-kind tale about her early days behind the scenes—cringeworthy now, heartstopping then.
