Inspired Discoveries Winners Announced

Six University of Baltimore students were named winners of UB's 2018 Inspired Discoveries Symposium of Undergraduate Research and Creative Works, held April 27 in the Town Hall in the H. Mebane Turner Learning Commons.
The winners are:
- Casey Gunn (Research)
- Adam Mizell, Nathan Dupree, Gary Keeler, and Chris Rizzo (Creative)
- Blessing Leonard (Honorable Mention for Research)
Gunn’s research, "Video Game Usage as a Relief for Symptoms of Anxiety and Depression in College Students," explored the correlation between video game plan and symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Mizell, Dupree, Keeler and Rizzo teamed up to create Horrific Halls, a first-person horror game set in UB's own Academic Center.
Leonard's research explored different displays provided by an instructional tool designed to assist students in learning programming languages.
