Charles Tumosa, director of the University of Baltimore's Forensic Studies program, was among a panel of experts who appeared on a recent episode of the British podcast Chips with Everything, where he discussed DNA and privacy in the wake of the arrest of the so-called Golden State Killer.
This notorious California serial murder and rape case had been relegated to the file drawer for decades, until investigators used a DNA sample and a genealogy website to find the alleged perpetrator.
