Every fall, first-year students in the University of Baltimore School of Law are challenged to describe their first semester of law school in only six words. For this year's "Be Brief" competition, second-year student Lauren Fleming led a group of upper-level students, including Eaujee Francisco and Tatiana Hill, in reviewing the entries. The following winners were selected:
1st place: "Working hard and it's hardly working": Anthony Kiser
2nd place: "Better Call Saul lied to me": Kyle Coleman
3rd place: "Y'all said weekends would be free": Rachel Henderson
School of Law Dean Ronald Weich will take the winners to lunch this spring to reward their wit and brevity.
