The eighth annual University of Baltimore's annual "Rise to the Challenge" Business Pitch Competition, sponsored by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, will take place on Wednesday, June 10, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in an online setting. The event provides an opportunity for members of the greater UB community to pitch ideas and concepts for new and existing businesses before a live audience of their peers, UB staff and entrepreneurial experts. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required; details are listed below.
This year's panel of eight teams, including undergraduates, graduate students and alumni, will compete online in two separate business categories. Prizes include more than $20,000 in seed money and in-kind professional services. Judges representing the local business ecosystem and the UB community will join together to select the winners.
The audience will be invited to vote for favorites, so your attendance is important.
You must register here to participate. (Registration will provide you with a link to this online-only event.)
