Voting is Not Enough: Virtual Panel Discussion, Sept. 29

The University of Baltimore History Club and faculty sponsor Prof. Josh Davis will be hosting a panel discussion on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Baltimore City Council President Brandon Scott will join the panel, as well as Council members Bill Henry and Odette Ramos. Subjects of discussion will include historical barriers to democracy faced by Baltimore's citizens, which past political figures have inspired the city's current leaders, and how Baltimore residents can exercise more influence on the operation of their city's government.
The discussion will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 2-3 p.m. over Zoom. The event is free and open to the public. Register for the event here.
