Lorenda Naylor, associate professor and director of the B.A. in Policy, Politics, and International Affairs program in The University of Baltimore's College of Public Affairs, will discuss her new book, Social Equity and LGBTQ Rights: Dismantling Discrimination and Expanding Civil Rights, on Friday, Jan. 8, from 10-11:30 a.m. at the National Academy of Public Administration's (NAPA) Standing Panel on Social Equity and Governance. The event, to be held via Zoom, is free and open to the public. Registration details are listed below.
According to its publisher, Routledge, Social Equity and LGBTQ Rights "demonstrates some of the ways in which LGBTQ citizens have been marginalized for their identity and argues that the field of public administration has a unique responsibility to prioritize social equity."
