Prof. Federman Receives USM Women's Forum Award for Book on Negotiations

Sarah Federman, assistant professor in The University of Baltimore's School of Public and International Affairs, received an award from the University System of Maryland Women's Forum in support of her forthcoming book, Getting Free: Negotiating for Social Mobility and Transformation, to be published by the University of California Press.
The USM Women's Forum Faculty Research Award "provides a funding opportunity for faculty who are pursuing research on women's experiences: social, scientific, economic, political, and health conditions that impact women."
Prof. Federman recently was accepted to the Fulbright Specialist Program Roster for a tenure of four years.
