The 13th annual Baltimore Data Week, hosted by the Baltimore Neighborhood Indicators Alliance (BNIA) and The University of Baltimore, will take place July 18-22. Real-time webinar sessions and online workshops will occur throughout the week, with a special in-person event set for July 22.
Community leaders, nonprofit organizations, government entities, and civic-minded technologists will gather to discuss the latest trends in community-based data and learn how other groups are using data to support and advance constructive change. Baltimore Data Week is structured around a series of how-to interactive workshops, in which participants who work with data will explain what data are available, where to find and access data, and how this important information can be actionable for communities. Through this event, the consistent goal is to empower community members to access and utilize available public data to advocate for positive change in their neighborhoods.
All events are open to the public. You may R.S.V.P. for one or more days. The week has been organized as follows:

This year, Baltimore Data Week will culminate with an afternoon "unconference" on Friday, July 22, where participants get to choose what topics they want to discuss. If you are interested in "Leading a Data Discussion," fill out this form.
