University of Baltimore President Kurt L. Schmoke is among a group of local, regional and national leaders to speak at the inaugural edition of The Baltimore Banner's "iMPACT MARYLAND" event on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
President Schmoke will join a panel discussion, "Empowering Dreams: Advancing Education for All in Maryland."
"For the first time, The Baltimore Banner is bringing together our region's most influential leaders to tackle Maryland's biggest challenges and envision an exciting future," an announcement from the Banner says. "The immersive, one-day event brings together top voices from key industries, creating a dialogue on the issues deeply impacting our region.
