The University of Baltimore's M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts will host its night of readings by current students on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Bogomolny Room on the 5th floor of the UBalt Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
M.F.A. students are encouraged to sign up to read briefly from their work. It's also a chance for students to hear what their fellow writers have been working on. For those entering the program's Thesis II and III in the spring, this is a good opportunity to practice reading for an audience before the spring reading in May.
Students may share five to seven minutes of their work. Sign-ups are available by emailing nat.raum@ubalt.edu.
