U.S. News Ranks UBalt at #29 in North's Top Public Schools

The University of Baltimore is ranked at #29 in the category of Top Public Schools - Regional Universities (North) in the 2025 edition of U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges survey, released on Sept. 24. The number represents a seven-place jump from the University's ranking in the 2024 edition of the survey.
The new edition, which breaks out a number of academic programs, schools, and so on, also ranked the undergraduate program in UBalt's Merrick School of Business at #248. With the publication ranking more than 500 undergraduate business programs (out of nearly 1,200 across the country), the 2024 finish places the Merrick School in the top 25 percent of all ranked schools. Of the 1,200 business schools in the country, 627 (including UBalt) are accredited by AACSB International, a global, non-profit organization that accredits business schools worldwide.
