Roger Hartley, dean of The University of Baltimore's College of Public Affairs, has been named a National Academy of Public Administration 2024 Academy Fellow. Dean Hartley is one of 42 new Fellows named by the organization, which recognizes leaders in the field of public administration.
"The 2024 class of Academy Fellows reflects a wide range of professional experience, including dedicated civil servants and accomplished academics," said Terry Gerton, NAPA president and CEO. "These 42 leaders will be an enormous asset to the Academy in the years ahead, and we look forward to working with all of them to help create a bright future for our country."
According to NAPA, the selection of Academy Fellows "follows a rigorous review of the individual's contributions to the field of public administration and policy." Nearly 1,000 individuals currently are recognized as Fellows, including members of Congress, govenors, mayors, scholars, nonprofit leaders and more.
Hartley will join his fellow inductees at NAPA's annual Academy Fall Meeting, which will take place Nov. 13-15 in Washington, D.C.
